syrian military has used the past couple of days to move men, to move equipment, evacuate headquarters or anything they think could be a target. they are trying to clear out including moving a lot of their scud missiles into mountainous positions there with their launchers so they could possibly retaliate. also making it much harder for the united states to destroy a lot of the syrian military very quickly. he we are also hearing they have moved some of their chemical weapons stockpile out of their storage facility into other facilities that could certainly complicate the targeting for the u.s. military as they want to make sure they don't hit any of those stockpiles and have the chemical weapons then be released released in tt area. probably the big thing coming in the next couple of hours is the u.n. weapons enemiers. they had been on the ground in syria for the past couple of days now. taking samples, trying to conclude what type of gas was used. those kind of things. they concluded all of their work on friday in damascus. saturday morning, which it already is here in the middle eas

. thanks for watching us tonight. why duck dynasty is a winner. that's the subject of this evening's talking points memo. unless you have been living under a rock for the past year, you have heard about a and e's reality show the mega hit duck dynasty. the series follows a wildly successful family-run company in louisiana that manufactures duck calls. on wednesday, the show's fourth season premier shattered cable tv records for reality shows 11.8 million people tuned in. half of those in the critical 18 to 49 demographic. the show also lights up social media and it has its own hugely popular product line. what explains the success? what's the allure of watching a bunch of long-haired rednecks sitting around teasing each other talking about their business, relationships and family lives? there is no nudity. pretty much no foul language. and no celebrity drop-byes. first, this is my theory. the duck dynasty characters are genuinely funny, but it's not always the obvious slapstick stuff. the dialogue can be really ironic, too. the robertson family comes across as unrehearsed, no nonsens

watching us tonight. the new haven register apologizes to fox news, that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. as we reported last night, the new haven register newspaper ran an editorial earlier this week that compared fox news to the ku klux klan. apparently to paper upset that some people they don't like like ann coulter and ted nugent have appeared on this network. talking points demanded an apology from the register and now we have it quote: we did not intend to compare fox news to specifically to the kkk. and we should have done a better job clarifying that. there is no comparing fox news and the republican party to the kkk. and we were wrong in making that connection. unquote. however, on its web site the new haven register is displaying this editorial cartoon which is a nasty piece of work demeaning fox news viewers. contrite. the paper does have a right to editorial point of view. however, when it gets irresponsible, then the marketplace will take action and in the register's case it has. in 1995, the paper circulation was more than 100,000. today it's a
